Three ways to write backwards
Backwards reverses every character, so “Hello world” becomes “dlrow olleH” and reads right to left. Words reversed keeps each word readable but flips their order: “world Hello”. Each word backwards keeps the order and turns every word around: “olleH dlrow”. Emoji, flags and accented letters stay whole.
Backwards, mirrored or upside down?
Backwards text uses ordinary letters, so it works in any app and on any device. Unicode has no mirrored version of most letters, so true mirror writing isn’t possible in plain text; tools that offer it swap in look-alikes. For text that reads correctly when the screen is turned around, use upside-down text.
