Where fancy fonts work on TikTok
Fancy text works in your Name, bio, captions and comments. Your @username only accepts letters, numbers, underscores and periods, so it has to stay plain. Text you add on top of a video uses TikTokโs own fonts, which you choose in the editor.
Keep people able to find you
Search matches plain letters, so a name written entirely in fancy text is harder to find, and screen readers may skip it. Keep your real name or brand in plain text and use fancy text for the rest.
